With work on Star Wars The Force Awakens finally finished and in theatres, the Cast and new director and writer Rian Johnson are making final preparations at Pinewood Studios in London for Star Wars Episode VIII.
After the news that Episode VIII was being pushed back from May 2016 to December 2016, it appeared the script having a rewrite before going in front of cameras. Well it appears the rewrites are officially finished and it appears the cast are all in London preparing to film in the next couple of weeks.
Stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher and Anthony Daniels have all been active across social media teasing Episode VIII going into production.

Just read Ep VIII and thought I'd share the story with you because I know you can't wait to hear it too. You do want to hear it. Don't you?

One of the few disappointments people seem to have with Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the lack of screen time for Captain Phasma played by Gwendoline Christie. Despite being used heavily in the marketing she had about 10 minutes of screen time in the final film.
But it appears as many figured Phasma will be back for Episode VIII, Speaking on the Red Carper at the SAG Awards on Saturday night, Empire are reporting Christie was asked by People magazine whether she would be making an appearance.
“Walking the red carpet at Saturday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, Christie was asked byPeople magazine whether Phasma will be back for more threatening, chrome-armoured antics in Episode VIII. “I will be in the next Star Wars movie. I think that’s an exclusive, actually,” she replied, giving hope to everyone who wants to see how much of a badass Phasma can be.”
No doubt many are hoping Phasma has much more screen time in the final film when Episode VIII is finally released on December 15th 2017.
